A solar system does not warn you when it weakens. A string of modules dropping out, a battery with a degrading cell, a drifted setting: none of this is visible to the eye, but all of it can be read in the data.
The logger continuously transmits production, consumption and state of charge. You view these readings from a phone; we receive the same alerts, which lets us deal with the anomaly before you suffer an outage.
Most diagnostics are done remotely this way. When a visit is still needed, the technician sets out already knowing what they are going to look for.
